The day began with the raiders under 13s taking on Cardiff dragons under 13s in a reverse fixture of last weekends game. With loads of running rugby and plenty of tries the result went to the raiders 56-14.

The second game of the day saw Aber Valley Wolves travel down to play against the Raiders in an under 15s fixture, the first half went a little one sided as the raiders scored fifty points, but the Wolves came back in the second half and proved why they hadn't lost a game this season, the game ended Raiders 15s 84-16 Wolves.

The final game of the day was a Welsh conference fixture as Cardiff Dragons travelled down to take on the Raiders. The game began very quickly with Cardiff scoring after 3 minutes as Liam Maule went over from a chip on the last tackle. It didn't take long for the Raiders to come back as under 17s winger James Smith took advantage off a mistake at kick off to score, conversion was missed.

The remaining 20 minutes saw the raiders take the lead as Curtis Ford, Sean Collins, Andrew Rees-Spowart and Rhys Cherry all scored to make the half time score Raiders 26-4 Cardiff Dragons.

The start of the second half was a tight affair as both teams put a lot of effort in their defences with some big hits, it took 25 minutes for the first points of the half as full back Sam Pridgeon went over from a well worked play. This seemed to rejuvenate the raiders as they went on to score 3 more tries from senior loose forward Alan Pope and 2 from captain Daf Phillips, Aaron Lewis added all three conversions.

Full time score West Wales Raiders 48 - 4 Cardiff Dragons.

Head coach Jon Ellis added " Three games at Stebonheath Park saw our young talent pools playing at under 13s & 15s, with both coming away with convincing wins and culminating in the seniors winning convincingly against Cardiff, this was a fantastic day of rugby league in west Wales and it shows the future is bright for the region within the sport."
