The game began with a minute silence in memory of the victims of the Manchester terror attack.

The game began with a bright start for the Raiders as they ran in 3 tries within 15 minutes from Dafydd Phillips and Curtis Ford 2,Aaron Lewis added all 3 conversions.

This seemed to have shocked the travelling side who came back in to the game with back to back sets, from this they found themselves in a great position to set themselves up for their first points of the game. With only 25 minutes gone the score was now 16-6 to the Raiders. As the scores were now closer both sides increased the physicality within the tackle area. The ref decided to speak with both sets of sides as a few of the tackles were getting a little high. From a penalty Raiders worked their way to the try line and scored some more points through loose forward Aaron Lewis, he also added the two points. As the second half had less than five minutes remaining the Raiders added another three tries with Jordan Ball, Shaun Tennant and Craig Kelly all going over.
